In Romania (my mum's Romanian) Christmas Eve tends to be more important than Christmas Day, and we always open our presents after dinner on Christmas Eve. I've always loved this tradition, and it works well, because it means I spend Christmas Day with my dad and am not missing out with my mum and gran. This past weekend I've been running around like a madman, trying to complete presents I had mostly already bought! I'm going to my eldest sister's tomorrow with my dad, and I can't wait to see my niece and nephews open their presents, they really make Christmas for me.
I'm feeling a little nostalgic today, I suppose we do around this time. Although I still love Christmas, I believe it's never as exciting as it was when you were little and waiting to see what Father Christmas had brought for you. Oh well, I will just have to stuff my face tomorrow to make up for it! Honestly though, I can't wait to see everyone. I probably won't blog over the next week or so and as I'm feeling nostalgic, this is a picture of me and Rosie on New Year's Eve nearly two years ago, everything has changed since then, but I think everything has worked out the way it was meant to.
Haha, I do love that photo. Ok, I had better go and begin to wrap this mountain of presents. I hope you all have the most wonderful Christmas with the people who love you most!
