On Spring Thoughts

Apart from the weather being a little unpredictable over the past couple of days, spring has well and truly hit the UK and I, for one, am loving it. I've never been a huge appreciator of nature, which I get from my Mum who has never really given it a second thought as she claims she's much more interested in people (which I suppose is demonstrated in her career as a psychotherapist), but there's something about seeing the beautiful blossom on trees and the sun shining over them that makes me smile and want to dance around in the blossom with my friends, is that weird?! I like to think not.

Needless to say, that is exactly what we did a couple of weeks ago when we went for a walk after having gone out for dinner. It was just so lovely to skip down the road (yes, skip) in the early evening when the sun was still shining and with plenty of blossom to throw/dance around in. Maybe it's the revision that's making us a little crazy, which I hold is most definitely a result of it after I found myself singing songs and linking random words to my philosophy course without realising it for a good five minutes (yes, really!), or something else, but we all found it hilarious and it really made the day.

Now, thinking about it, has made me long for more days like these in summer - evening walks before the sun goes down, bellies full of delicious dinner, and laughing with some pretty great people - yes please! I've just got to get these dreaded exams out of the way first, but there's only about a month to go...

Just a quick note to say that if you follow me on Bloglovin', I'd really appreciate it if you'd click the following link below to follow me on my account for the new domain name, The Girl In The Moon, the old one still works fine and will update you with all my new posts, but I'd like to transfer to the new one if you don't mind - thank you in advance! xo

  1. Revision certainly makes me do crazy things! I hate missing out on the wonderful changes that have been happening in nature recently; being cooped up inside is not good at all. Just another six weeks, though, and freedom will be mine!

    1. I know exactly how you feel! It's absolutely rubbish, but, as you said, there's not too long to go now and I can't wait for a long and relaxing summer - good luck in your exams xo
